**Job description**

To meet the demands of our rapidly growing base of satisfied customers, Core Property Services is seeking an experienced general labourer / pressure washer (male or female) to work primarily in the downtown area of Vancouver. Ideally you are considered a ‘jack of all trades’ type of human. Core is a locally owned and operated, well established and rapidly growing company dedicated to excellent customer service and quality work. We have over 80% repeat/referral customer base and our plates are full. The company is reaching levels of growth which is exciting to be a part of.

**Key Responsibilities**

As an employee or contractor you will be primarily responsible to perform general maintenance and light repairs, including:

- Pressure Washing
- Graffiti Removal
- Minor painting
- Minor landscaping
- Window Cleaning
- Moss and Algae treatment

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2-5 years’ experience as a general labourer
- Able to lift up to 50lbs and perform other physically demanding duties
- Basic math skills
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Committed to ensuring a safe workplace
- Well-organized and can prioritize tasks
- Valid driver’s license and access to own vehicle preferred but not required
- Practice site safety and adhere to WorkSafe guidelines

**About you**:

- Possess excellent communication skills in English both oral and written
- Valid Driver’s license and a good driving record preferred but not required
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of this position
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and walking around
- Ability to operate related equipment such as manual or electric tools
- Ability to work independently as well as get along with others
- Should be highly detail oriented as well as ability to multitask
- Must be aware and or trained on the safe use of equipment, site safety practices, fire prevention and work regulations

**Salary**:

- $19.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience
- 2 weeks vacation to start
- Cell Phone
- Own vehicle and tools is an asset but not required
- Reimbursement for kilometers will be provided if own vehicle is used

**Schedule**:
8 hour shift
- Day shift

**Supplemental pay types**:

- Overtime pay

**Salary**: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
