Night Houseperson

**Responsibilities**
- Doing external and internal patrols of the building perimeter
- Ensuring that all floors of the building are patrolled
- Being able to determine if there is a suspicious person in the building
- Having the ability to contact 9-1-1 in the event of an emergency or identifying a suspicious act/person
- Monitoring noise complaints within the building
- Having the ability to be able to face confrontation
- Patrolling the public washroom areas within the building
- Being able to vacate vagrants
- Report writing at the end of each shift
- Maintaining cleanliness of the building lobby/pool/public area
- Cleaning the public washrooms, the pool, and the lobby

**Skills/Knowledge Required**
- A strong knowledge of the local area, including street grid layouts, key attractions, and recommended dining options
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be self-directed, motivated and demonstrate exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and openly in all interactions.
- Ability to actively demonstrate initiative in job performance
- Excels in a team environment
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to meet the business needs of a 24/7 hotel environment, including weekends and holidays

**Physical Requirements**
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods at a time
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must have a well-paced ability in body range movement

**Must be legally allowed to work in Canada**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.00 per hour
