**Job Summary - Continuous Improvement Specialist**

We are currently entering a new stage of growth and are looking for a new Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our team This position is responsible to manage and drive the process of continuous improvement across the manufacturing operations; establishing and meeting the continuous improvement projects and sustainable targets with the focus on values, missions and objectives.

**About You**
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD software
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Background in operations management, process engineering and/or quality management

**Responsibilities**
- Prioritize, Develop and drive SMART projects in agile and iterative manner.
- Interface with Design, Product Engineering, and other business partners on the design for manufacturability, process capability, and production builds of new product or product revisions.
- Participate with business partners and customers with a focus on building quality into all processes.
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with plant and business team management on the development and execution of manufacturing performance metrics and establishing employee involvement programs.
- Define and communicate performance targets for safety, quality, manufacturing throughput and delivery performance; develop baselines where required.
- Efficient and effective requirement gathering for MIS and dashboard reporting tools.

**Minimum Experience and Education**
- 4-year degree in mechanical/industrial or electrical engineering
- Lean/Six sigma certification
- 5- 10 years of demonstrated knowledge of quality programs and initiatives, SPC and process capability work
