Screener

**Job description**

Franklin Gardens LTCH is currently seeking Screeners to greet and screen all staff, contractors, residents, families and visitors that enter Franklin Gardens.

**Education**
- Recent experience in a healthcare environment an asset
- Excellent customer service skills and demonstrated adherence to the expectations of practice at Franklin Gardens.
- Must have covid 19 vaccinations

**Skill and Ability**
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt and change to rapidly changing priorities
- Thoroughness to detail
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Able to wear protective apparel (e. mask, face shield, gloves and gowns)

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Review screening tools and assess eligibility for entrance
- screen all individuals entering the home for signs and symptoms and travel based on the screening tool
- Ensure all persons entering the facility follow proper precautionary measures and wear the correct protective apparel as required
- Direct families and porter residents to their visits

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour
