Edi Analyst

**EDI Analyst
The role is to serve as a liaison between functional and technical resources to manage system modifications, end user support and day-to-day problem analysis, issue tracking and resolution as it pertains to EDI for Sporting Life Group.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as the primary contact for all EDI trading partners, third party providers, and internal stakeholders for Sporting Life Group.
- Establish relationships with new and existing vendors and third party providers.
- Support the testing of all EDI implementations and changes for existing and new trading partners through our third party provider.
- Coordinate with third party providers and vendors on planned changes to company documentation standards and testing of approved changes where required.
- Coach and train internal members of Sporting Life Group on best practices and vendor specific requirements.
- Monitor the production environment and proactively prioritize, communicate and resolve any EDI process or system issues both internal and with trading partners.
- Maintain best practices and proactively recommend opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Participate in and/or facilitate meetings with vendors, third parties and internal stakeholders.
- Provide timely communication and weekly status updates internally.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Post secondary degree or diploma in a Business function or equivalent experience
- Knowledge and experience with EDI standards, transformations and communication channels
- Experience with integration and implementation of EDI trading partners
- Experience with ANSI X12 EDI standards and best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail oriented
- Ability to interact effectively with senior business leaders both externally and internally
- Strong English skills both written and verbal
