We are currently recruiting for a **Butter Case Packer and Palletizer,** at our Winnipeg, Manitoba location. The primary role of the Butter Packer is to operate the packaging equipment and package and palletize butter according to standards.

This position will work on a 10-hour (5:30 pm - 4:00 am) night shift schedule to support a 24/7/365 operation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for operating packaging equipment.
- Accurately perform line quality checks and record results.
- Loading machinery with packing materials.
- Palletizing and transporting from the department to the freezer.
- Sanitizing of the equipment.
- Set up and complete Clean-in-Place (CIP) washes, as well as manual cleaning of equipment and environmental cleaning.
- Ensure the work area and department are clean and tidy after the shift.
- Back up to the Printer Operator in their absence.
- Any other duties that may be assigned.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Food Safety & Quality responsibility as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other training materials provided and accurate record keeping.
- Adhere to all safety practices and protocols related to job responsibilities and tasks including wearing all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement programs such as coaching sessions, sharing of knowledge and skills, and contributing to team efforts to achieve assigned balanced scoreboard goals.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Minimum high school diploma and/or relevant food processing experience.
- Forklift license and experience in forklift operation and assets.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to be flexible in terms of shift work and perform other duties as required.
- Able to lift 25kg (55 lbs.)
- Basic computer skills. Able to work and learn on user-friendly computerized control systems.
- Mechanical aptitude and solid troubleshooting ability.
- Able to work with regular exposure to noise, odor, chemical hazards, hazardous machines, and frequent interruptions.
