The Food Service Ambassador communicates with the entire healthcare team to help ensure patient's nutritional needs are met; maintaining the highest level of confidentiality. The Food Service Ambassador must accurately and efficiently use technology, such as computer software in a windows environment and smart phones, to receive patient orders and communicate with NFS team members. The Food Service Ambassador participates in departmental meetings and programs, participates in the training/orientation of new staff and students and performs other duties as required. These tasks are completed with mínimal supervision, and following all applicable policies and standard operating procedures. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 2111 Collective Agreement.
