**Kitchen Supervisor**

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage daily operation under the direction of the Store Manager and Kitchen Manager- Maintain inventories and order/ purchase sufficient food items- Anticipates, identifies and corrects any issues with inventory, systems and staffing- Operate kitchen equipment safely and ensure that all Health and Safety standards are met- Ensure compliance of all food handling requirements and standards- Communicate effectively with others regarding all aspects of menu planning, food preparation and execution- Hire, train and schedule team members to ensure departmental and operational efficiency- Provide direction to team members and ensure the execution of employee duties- Seek ways to improve kitchen operations, menus and departmental processes to ensure mínimal waste

**Must-Haves**:

- Current or previous experience in a Supervisory position in a quick service environment- Experience with kitchen equipment, knives, ovens, stoves, etc.- Familiar with sanitation and health and safety food regulations including proper handling of equipment- Proficient budgeting skills and understanding- Work well under pressure independently- Proven leadership abilities- Strong communication skills - oral and written- Excellent time management and organization skills
