We are looking for a passionate and energetic sushi bar helper to join our sushi department. The sushi helper responsibilities will include but are not be limited to preparing traditional Japanese sushi rice, butcher and fillet various kinds of fish and seafood standards, assist the executive chef in placing orders for supplies and ingredients as needed.

The sushi helper must maintain a sense of professionalism, cleanliness, efficiency and a strive for excellence.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Positive attitude and excellent customer-oriented approach
- Team player - assist in a positive guest experience however necessary
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Expertly cutting, slicing and filleting different types of fish and seafood according to established guidelines on quality, portion size, presentation and food safety.
- Maintaining a clean work environment for your team and preventing food contamination.
- Assist the executive chef in the routine inventory of food supplies and other products.
- Communication with wait staff to ensure that special requests and food allergy considerations are met.
- A passion for Japanese cuisine and the art of fine dining.
- Self-motivated and extreme drive to learn and collaborate.
- Open availability and willing to accept guidance and constructive criticism.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Desire to meet the expectation
