Order Picker/packer

If you are a motivated, detail-oriented, team-player then this opportunity may be right for you An Order Picker's main duties will be to locate, select and pack items to fulfil customer orders in a timely manner while at the same time ensuring accuracy of orders.

**Main activities include**:

- Scan bar code printed for the items and enter the Identification Number into and update the Warehouse Inventory
- Read and interpret batch pick list to identify items required to complete the customer order
- Locate and accurately pick from warehouse stock the customer order items
- Check selected items for accuracy and quality
- Verify the items for correct manufacturer, size, colour, style, quantity - Reviewing orders for accuracy and cross referencing with packing lists
- Identify defects by inspecting the product for damages.
- Record all picking errors on a log or verbally advise superior
- Obtain, fold and place items neatly into cartons
- Process all items that are to be returned to stock
- Maintain and organise the work area to ensure cleanliness
- Meet and exceed productivity and quality standards outlined by the company
- Other duties as required

**Salary**: $17.00-$21.00 per hour
