We are currently looking for two (2) experienced Journey Person Carpenters or Apprentices to help us with building construction in Southern Saskatchewan.

**Job Title**: Journey person Carpenter and Apprentice

**Job Summary**:The Carpenters are expected to be familiar in an industrial setting and experienced in civil and structural work. Typical duties will involve concrete formwork (rebar installations, concrete pouring, and finishing). Working in Southern Saskatchewan near Estevan, on 10 day on and 4 day off (10-4) rotation. Project duration is approximately three (3) months with the possibility of extension. Living out Allowance (LOA) and Travel to be confirmed nearer the start date of late September.

**Reports To**: Construction Manager.

**Overall Accountability**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Prepare layouts to conform to Industrial building codes, using measuring tools.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials of wood and other materials.
- May prepare cost estimates for clients.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of an Apprenticeship and a Journeyman Red Seal Certificate

- Fall Protection
- Ariel Work Platform (AWP)/Scissor Lift
- Confined Space
- Ground Disturbance

**Working Environment**:

- This position works in an industrial mine site setting
