**Position Summary**:
The Purchasing Coordinator will research and evaluate suppliers on cost, selection, service, distribution, and availability before using their clear and concise communication skills to negotiate deals and purchases. They will use their keen attention to detail to order supplies, track the progress of shipments, and troubleshoot any issues along the way.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Conduct all purchasing duties in compliance with Cansco Control Systems requirements.
- Source best value price and delivery information from approved suppliers/vendors for materials requested
- Prepare and send purchase orders within Cansco Control Systems ERP System.
- Communicate with suppliers for order confirmations, shipping dates, package details, and ready-to-ship dates
- Manage the Purchase Order register and all Purchase Order specific documents.
- Report and correct all receipt and invoice non-conformances with supplier/vendor, utilize CANSCO department heads as required.
- Manage and maintain Approved Vendors List (AVL).

**Requirements and Qualifications**
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a relevant field; Oil & Gas procurement, Manufacturing Procurement
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of ERP Systems.
