Worship Leader

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Lead worship services by selecting appropriate music and coordinating with musicians and vocalists.
- Educate the congregation about the significance of worship through music, scripture, and prayer.
- Communicate effectively with church staff, volunteers, and members to plan and execute worship services.
- Organize rehearsals for the worship team, ensuring all members are prepared for services.
- Develop programs that engage children in worship activities, fostering their spiritual development.
- Collaborate with other church leaders to create a cohesive worship experience that aligns with the church's mission.
- Provide pastoral care as needed, particularly in hospice care settings or during times of need within the community.

**Requirements**:

- Proven leadership experience within a church or similar setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to connect with individuals of all ages.
- Experience working with children in a ministry context is highly desirable.
- A deep understanding of worship practices and theology.
- Ability to educate others about the importance of worship and spiritual growth.
- Must be committed to fostering an inclusive environment that welcomes all individuals into the worship experience.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.34-$23.41 per hour
