Electromechanical Technician

Collaborate with the engineering team to analyze and problem solve solutions for current and future product development.
- Assist in the procurement of required mechanical and electrical components.
- Develop and oversee manufacturing and production of electromechanical systems.
- Develop and review technical drawings and documents as required.
- Knowledge of programming software/languages.
- Knowledge of electrical panel building, I/O communication and integration with electromechanical systems.
- Technical knowledge of automation systems, including motors, controllers, sensors, and safety devices.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
- Familiarity with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and Canadian Electrical Code.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards such as CSA C22.1, UL325, ASTM F2200.
Qualifications, Experience and Education:
- Diploma in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
- 3+ years of industry experience.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other 3D design software.
- Proficient in the MS Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to problem solve and work well under pressure.
- High level of sound and independent judgment and reasoning.
- Analytical, thorough and detail oriented.
- Strong technical writing skills.

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
