**SUMMARY DESCRIPTION**:
**Stay-on Bonus**

The Jr. Machine Operator is responsible for assisting in efficient operation and production of machines and equipment. This position will ensure machines and equipment are operating an optimum performance levels ensuring exceptional quality of the product.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Assist in troubleshooting equipment

2. Assist with adjusting molding machines and perform calibration checks

3. Verify the quality of the product through inspections and testing

4. Ensure the completion and accuracy of all required reports relating to production and machine performance

5. Assist in conducting daily preventative maintenance on the machines and repairing minor fixes and replacement of parts as required

6. Monitor the rejected product and perform a waste count

7. Ensure plant adheres to safety and environmental rules

8. Maintain daily housekeeping ensuring working area is kept safe and clear of excess debris

9. Support other departments as needed

10. Always adhere to company safety policies

**EDUCATION**:
**Required**:GED

**Preferred**:High school diploma

**EXPERIENCE**:
**Required**:6 months as extrusion blow molding operator.

**Preferred**:1-year experience as extrusion blow molding operator.

**SKILLS**:
**Required**: Ability for problem solving and mechanics

Proficient with hand tools

An ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Willingness to work 8 hours on either morning, afternoon or night shifts

Mus be able to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods

**Preferred**:Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English.
