**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Communicate in a professional manner with all staff, community partners and clients
- Contribute to a supportive, collaborative and productive work environment at NCCE Inc.
- Strictly adhere to the confidentiality and proprietary information policy
- Complete, timely and accurate entry into the program database
- Adhere to the dress code policy
- Prepare regular reports; maintain effective documentation and other administrative requirements relevant to this position
- Provide information and referrals with regards to services including but not limited to health, housing, employment, training and education, legal aid, finance, social services, immigration
- Assist clients in the understanding of integrating into the Canadian society
- Increase clients awareness of the practices, policies, procedures, and the way of life, of Canada’s institutions, laws, etc.
- Assist in the development and implementation of innovative programs and services that promote access, equity, settlement and integration of newcomers and their families
- Conduct community outreach to the various communities and ensure maximum visibility of programs and services to target groups

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- College diploma or post-secondary education in a relevant human services field or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- 1-3 years experience assisting newcomers with settlement issues
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- Fluent in one or more of the following languages: Spanish, Low German

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

**Salary**: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
