**Title**: Operator & Day Operator

**Work Schedule**:

- Operator Schedule - 5-5-4 with rotating days and nights, 12 hour shifts
- Day Operator Schedule - Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

**Summary**: Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Rare Earths processing circuits in a 24/7 operating facility. This position is also required to operate mobile equipment and do manual tasks regularly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure responsibilities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner as a priority this includes, operating stationary and mobile equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot issues once fully competent in an area
- Once fully trained peer train other operators effectively
- Successfully complete all circuit training required for the position and also including but not limited to core training such as WHMIS, confined space entry, fall protection, lockout, etc.
- Operate mobile equipment, including but not limited to, forklift, bobcat, telehandler, truck, etc.
- Actively participate in daily toolbox talks or other safety meetings as required
- Operate circuits in our processing plant including, but not limited to, ore receiving, calciner, dense media separator, leaching area, precipitation, etc.
- Actively participate in operational excellence discussions and meetings to improve efficiency within the processing facility
- Ability to enter appropriate information into rate loss tacking for continual improvement
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent such as GED
- Basic computer skills are required
- Mechanical aptitude, such as a trades background, would be considered an asset
- Dependability and the ability to work independently are required for this position
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is considered an asset
