**Job Overview**:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Camp Supervisor to join our team for an upcoming summer camp program. As a Camp Supervisor, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for children to learn and grow.

**Duties**:

- Provide guidance and support to campers in their personal development
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive camp experience
- Reports to Programs Resource Manager of UHP Community Development Association
- Supervision of day camp counselors and participants, including, attendance, workload, and schedules
- Make sure all policies and procedures are implemented.
- Responsible for planning, organizing activities and games.
- Ensuring the safety of campers
- Managing and problem solving for campers, staff, and volunteers
- Prepares reports and keeps records of attendance and fee payments and program receipts.
- Oversee canteen operation.
- Will be the front-line contact person for community residents with children enrolled in the program.
- Know and understand ALL emergency procedures associated with the camp program.
- Know, enforce, and follow all safety guidelines associated with the camp and all program areas.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a university or college program or entering **(mandatory)**
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- Problem solving skills.
- Time management skills
- First Aid and CPR certification an asset or can be attained after hire.
- Education classes or experience in camp, youth programs, recreation, working with children, or in a related field an asset.
- Ability to lead, plan, organize, and implement program activities.
- Ability to work as a member of a team and the ability to accomplish tasks with little direct supervision.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to educate and mentor campers effectively
- Record checks (Criminal, Vulnerable, Child abuse)

Pay: $18.00 per hour
