Satellite Technician

**NextGen Systems, an authorized service provider for Bell **is presently hiring an energetic **customer service-oriented** Full-Time **Satellite** **Field Technician** in Burlington, ON and nearby areas.

The **Satellite** **Field Technician **is responsible for installation of wireless broadband networking equipment in customers’ homes.

**Essential Functions**:

- Achieve complete customer satisfaction 100% of the time by performing work in a professional, timely and approved manner
- Accurate daily, weekly and monthly documentation/reporting of service tickets and installations
- Complete installations and repairs using power and hand tools
- Terminate network cable and run cables through walls and ceilings
- Follow and enforce the Company’s policies and procedures, including the Field Operation guidelines and safety, at all times
- Use mobile APPs to facilitate installations and service calls
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with low voltage systems
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

**Having a White color van (e.g. Dodge Caravan) will be an asset**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

- Burlington, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
