**Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health status
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism
- Understanding of the importance of maintaining client confidentiality
- Familiarity with hospice care, dementia care, and senior care is a plus

**Skills**:

- Clean: Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment for clients
- Meal preparation: Proficiency in preparing nutritious meals for clients based on their dietary needs and preferences
- Nurse: Basic knowledge of medical procedures and ability to assist with medical tasks under the supervision of healthcare professionals
- Hospice care: Understanding of the unique needs of individuals receiving end-of-life care and ability to provide comfort and support during this time
- Dementia care: Knowledge of dementia-related conditions and ability to provide specialized care for individuals with dementia
- Patient care: Ability to provide compassionate and attentive care to clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being at all times
- Home care: Experience in providing care within a home setting, including familiarity with home safety measures and protocols
- Assisted living: Understanding of the services provided in assisted living facilities and ability to assist residents with their daily activities
- Nursing home: Knowledge of the operations and services provided in nursing homes, including experience working with residents in this setting
- Senior care: Ability to meet the unique needs of elderly individuals, including physical, emotional, and social support

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $19.20-$24.84 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week
