Psychometrist

**Psychometrist Position - Immediate Availability**

Macdonald Psychology Group is a private practice based in Calgary, Alberta that provides services to clients in Alberta, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. We offer both assessment and counselling services to a range of clientele, with a focus on individuals with complex learning profiles.

We are looking for a self-directed psychometrist, who would work under the close supervision of the lead psychologist, to join our team, with a focus on providing services to our clientele on Prince Edward Island. This would be a part-time/ casual position based on referrals received.

Qualifications:

- Minimum Bahelot Degree in Education, and/ or Master’s Degree in Psychology and or Education (or equivalent)
- Considerable supervised experience in the selection, administration, scoring & interpretation of psychometric measures (Levels B & C; Wechsler suite of assessments; KTEA, BASCs, etc.)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (report writing)
- Ability to work independently in terms of client contacts, scheduling, arranging for testing locations, etc., all under the close supervision of the lead psychologist
- Ability to act in accordance with the Canadian Code of Ethics for Psychologists

The successful applicant would be responsible to sit in on intake and feedback interviews with clients but would not be in a position to deliver diagnostic information. The psychometrist would also have 1:1 and team supervision with Dr. Macdonald and his team via Zoom.
