Quality Assurance Coordinator

**Job Overview**:
The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring child and family services meet established quality standards as per the Honouring our Children, Families and Nation Act. This includes full responsibility for implementing and managing the Agency’s Compliant Regulations and internal processes, statistical analysis and all data collection processes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Management of complaints, review, assessment and complete internal written reports and written notices to membership and stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify root causes of complaints and work on continuously improving, implementing, monitoring and measuring all recommendations
- Analyze complaint data and all other statistical data to identify trends and provide feedback to management on areas for service improvement, this includes completing all statistical reports for the Annual General Meeting and other required reports for internal and external systems
- Prepare detailed reports on complaint activities including recommendations
- Monitor and review feedback provided through membership surveys, reviews of child welfare and macro child welfare changes
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes, procedures and best practices
- Work closely with FAMCare team to ensure the reconciliation of data
- Continuously monitor and analyze other sources of data collection to identify and implement process improvements
- Assist in training and guiding other team members on Quality Assurance practices and procedures
- Ensure Quality Assurance activities align with all Agency regulations, procedures and policies
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**:
- Knowledge of Peguis First Nation legislation Honouring our Children, Families and Nation Act, and regulations to assess overall service delivery; implement, monitor, and report on all recommendations
- Culturally sensitive, and guided by the 7 sacred teachings and adhere to Agency Code of Conduct
- Ability to work in a team or independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong ability to conduct a thorough investigation to understand the nature of complaints and determine appropriate resolutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address root causes and implement corrective action
- Positive relationship building with community members, collaterals and stakeholders
- Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, strong leadership skills and a high level of independence
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Ability to conduct Sharing Circles
- Valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle
- Travelling is required based on the program’s needs
- Experience with Mac operating systems and computer software - specifically Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of historic and current forms of colonialism, systemic discrimination and barriers facing First Nations people
**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:
- Bachelor of Social Work Degree or Post-Secondary degree in a related field (combination of education and experience shall be considered)
- +5 years of experience in relevant field
