Key Responsibilities include:

- assembling, calibrating (programming), testing and inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing a wide variety of weighing systems (scales) and related equipment;
- travelling to and from customer locations and positively interacting with customers by providing technical support, and training on equipment use; and
- maintaining work space, service vehicles, equipment and tools.

**Job Description**:

- Set up, calibrate and/or repair/troubleshoot a variety of weighing systems (scales).
- Perform manual work (lifting, moving and repairing equipment) as well as instrumentation and computer related work.
- Clearly and efficiently completing documents related to work performed.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
- Travel to and from customer sites in company vehicles.
- Basic work week is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with overtime as needed.
- Periods of out of town work, approximately 5 - 7 days per month.
- have at least a high school diploma;
- be able to work independently;
- have good English verbal and written skills;
- be able to in-town and out of town (in company vehicles), including some overnight travel (expenses will be covered);
- be willing to work overtime as needed;
- be physically able to lift 50 lbs to 100 lbs, repeatedly;
- be able to easily move in tight spaces;
- have a valid Alberta Class 3 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract (this is required);
- have a positive attitude and follow instructions well;
- be willing to learn new skills.

This position is with a south central Edmonton company which has been in business for over 40 years. It is ideal for someone looking for long-term, steady employment.

**Salary**: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
