**Job Summary**

The role of the Dispatch Coordinator is to book & trace freight, manage daily driver schedules, manage daily paperwork, increase revenue, decrease costs & always provide excellent customer service.

**Responsibilities**
- Booking freight & managing shipments
- Managing daily driver schedules
- Managing daily paperwork
- Providing customer quotations & coordinating pickup/delivery with customers & drivers
- Tracing shipments & providing regular status updates to our customers
- Identifying time sensitive shipments & handling accordingly
- All other duties as assigned

**Key Competencies**
- Good knowledge of Ontario & Quebec geography
- Ability to multitask & work in a fast-paced high-volume environment
- Strong interpersonal & organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize with mínimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills & an ability to recognize when escalation is necessary

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education
- 1-3 years’ experience in a dispatch environment
- Knowledge of Transplus & Loadlink would be beneficial, but not required

**Working Conditions and Physical Requirements**
- This job is primarily office based, with occasional dock/warehouse work as required

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
