Working for JG Goetz Construction you will further gain your knowledge in civil construction. This position will further strengthen your skills to hopefully one day become a site supervisor.
Your duties will be to organize the job ahead for the day; getting tools ready for the crew, reading the plans and understanding what to expect next. Setting up basic layout for structures, helping shooting line for storm & sanitary sewer runs, more in depth of installing watermain & watermain fittings.
Further to that, safety at Goetz Construction is paramount, you will gain knowledge in how to act around heavy machinery, trench conditions and what constitutes as a safe trench, as well in understanding locates and how to operate around utilities in the field.
Your own transportation, can arrange a ride if need be, CSA approved work boots, General construction experience an asset.
**Salary**: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
