**NATURE DU TRAVAIL**
Le rôle du psychologue inclus notamment la prévention, le dépistage, l’évaluation, l’aide et l’accompagnement des élèves ayant des handicaps ou des élèves qui présentent ou qui sont susceptibles de présenter des difficultés d’adaptation ou d’apprentissage visant à les soutenir dans leur cheminement scolaire et leur épanouissement personnel et social. De plus, vous serez amenée à:

- Contribuer au dépistage et à la reconnaissance des élèves vivant des difficultés, et ce, dans une optique de prévention et d’intervention
- Participer avec l’équipe multidisciplinaire à l’élaboration et la révision du plan d’intervention de l’élève en y intégrant, s’il y a lieu, son plan d’action;
- Aider les enseignantes et enseignants à préciser la nature de la problématique, les conseille et les soutient dans leur démarche éducative
- Intervenir auprès d’élèves, de groupes d’élèves ou de parents; elle ou il les assiste dans l’identification de difficultés, les soutient dans l’exploration de solutions et, au besoin, leur propose des ressources
- Conseiller et soutenir les intervenantes et intervenants scolaires en matière d’intégration d’élèves en classe ordinaire et leur propose des moyens d’intervention ou des activités appropriées à la situation de l’élève ou d’un groupe d’élèves
- Peut être appelé à intervenir pour aider à désamorcer des situations de crise ou d’urgence et proposer des pistes de solution

**EXIGENCES ET QUALIFICATIONS**
- Être membre de l’Ordre des psychologues du Québec;
- Maîtrise de la langue anglaise et du français;

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $58,113.00-$96,575.00 per year
