**People, Place, Prosperity**:
**What you will be doing**:

- Provides Aqua Fitness instruction; plans, designs and implements Aqua Fitness classes for all ages and abilities.
- Ensures that the equipment is in place and operational and that the equipment is stored away after use.
- Reports any situations and/or areas of concern to Head Instructor/Guard.
- Acts to deal with incidents, problems and emergencies and comply with Divisional/City policies and procedures.
- Follows safety supervision basics and ensures safety of program participants. Practices a preventative approach to safety and responds to accidents and incidents involving patrons as required, including completing proper documentation.
- Attend and participates in training sessions as required

**Experience and Knowledge**:

- Standard First Aid, CPR C and AED Certification
- Must possess one of the recognized Aquatic Fitness Certifications - CALA, WaterART or AQX

- Current and valid Police Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check to be provided prior to commencement in this position.
Worker Health and Safety Awareness Training certificate from the Ministry of Labour. (may be obtained post offer)
Proof of your current and valid certificate(s) and/or educational qualifications.

**Rate of pay**:
The hourly rate for this position will vary pending qualifications; however, will be within the hourly range of $25.00 - $32.00 depending on qualifications and experience.

**Hours of work**:
Hours will include evenings, weekdays or weekends and are dependent on the number of participants taking part in our programs; as such, there are no minimum hours associated with this position.
