**Principal Hydrologist**:
**Regina, sk / Saskatoon, SK / Lloydminster, SK / Calgary, AB / Edmonton, AB**:
As a Principal Hydrologist, you will be a reliable, knowledgeable, and valued member of our Water Sciences Team. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and play a key role in the technical delivery of water-projects to our clients.

**Responsibilities**
- Drive top line growth by building new client relationships, supporting existing client relationships to grow Clifton’s footprint in the market, and achieve a sustainable industry-recognized practice.
- Oversee engineering assessment, design, and analysis for a variety of water management and mining projects.
- Support Clifton’s existing geotechnical services while driving growth in new services areas.
- Actively respond to requests for proposals and qualifications to meet client goals and objectives and develop Clifton’s competitive advantage.
- Act as the key client service interface and provide technical support to existing Clifton clients.
- Adhere to Clifton’s Quality Management System in project delivery.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and correspondence.
- Leading, coordinating, and working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, providing technical expertise, direction, and mentorship to intermediate and senior staff.
- Other duties, as required.

**Required Qualifications and Experience**
- Graduate degree in hydrology, environmental science, or a related field.
- Registered as a professional member with APEGS.
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience with a demonstrated track record of success in developing business within the water resources or mining industries. Consulting experience considered an asset.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills with all levels of the client’s organization.
- Technical and business understanding of industry processes, with an ability to support Clifton clients in full project delivery.
- Strong organizational skills, including effective management of multiple and conflicting priorities with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, in the context of work/life balance.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work in a highly matrixed team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Continued attention to safety and safe work environments, with a strong workplace safety orientation.
