Samantha's Learn to Swim is currently looking for
**Bronze course** Swim/ Aquatic Instructor.

**Position Overview**:
The Swim/Aquatic Instructor must be licensed to teach **Bronze cross levels**.

This person must also ensures all members and guests enjoy a pleasant Aquatic class experience complemented with excellent customer service.

**Key Responsibilities and Requirements**:

- Must be energetic and have a passion for fitness and aquatics
- Previous experience leading Aquatic classes of up to 3 participants
- Flexibility to work days, evenings and weekends, as required

*I**nstructor Must have their certifications or have a plan to get them before the start date.**

**Hours are flexible, you can pick up shift based on your available.**
- Monday to Friday evenings
- Full day on weekends

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend shift

Ability to Relocate:

- Markham, ON: Relocate before starting work (preferred)

Work Location: In person

**Responsibilities**:

- Educate and instruct individuals or groups on swimming techniques and water safety
- Plan and prepare lesson plans based on the skill level and goals of each swimmer
- Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and provide feedback to improve skills
- Ensure the safety of all participants during swim lessons
- Maintain a clean and organized swimming area

**Requirements**:

- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swimming strokes
- Previous experience as a swim instructor or lifeguard preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with individuals of all ages and skill levels
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
