Childcare Educator

Working daily with children between the ages of infant to school age within our four locations within Paris Ontario
- Providing a nurturing and caring environment for all children, where they feel safe, secure and develop a sense of belonging
- Follow Paris Child Care standards, employee manual, College of ECE’s Code of Ethics, and the Child Care and Early Years Act.
- To observe and document children’s learning and interests to create daily activities that are fun and age appropriate, using How Does Learning Happen
- To form and maintain professional relationships with other team members, parents, and other partners
- To provide ongoing supervision of the children
- To ensure the physical environment is safe, clean, and accessible to all the children
- To attend and actively participate in staff meetings, contribute to team discussions, and participate in professional development

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Two-year diploma in Early Childhood Education or similar designation preferred but not required
- Clear vulnerable sector check, standard first aid and CPR level C; and up to date immunization records
- Good time management and organization skills
- Creative, flexible, good problem solver
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team player

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.21-$20.28 per hour
