**Blue Water Storage is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team for the upcoming season**

Hours are from September 16-November 4, 11am-7pm.

**About Us**

Located in Thornbury, Ontario, Blue Water Storage receives and stores thousands of bins of apples from orchards across the province to be packed at Blue Mountain Fruit Company. We use innovative technology throughout our packing and storage facilities to ensure high-quality apples reach our customers’ hands. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude to join our team and keep the apple industry vibrant in Ontario

**Responsibilities**
- Loading/unloading flatbed trucks and tractor trailers
- Moving apple bins in and out of cold storage
- Scanning bins
- Stacking bins up to 8 high
- Troubleshooting equipment
- Lifting CHEP pallets into place if needed

**Needed Abilities**
- Ability to lift at least 35kg
- Mechanically inclined
- Interactive communication
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Positive approach to problem solving
- Ability to shift between tasks quickly and efficiently

**Conditions of Employment**
- Valid G license
- Valid forklift training certificate
- Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain necessary certifications

**How To Apply**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- THORNBURY, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Forklift: 1 year (preferred)
- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
