Pollard operates out of a 300,000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing plant and are recognized as a leader in new and replacement window manufacturing._
**SHIFT TIME: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; **_must be able to train on Day Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) for 4-weeks._
**JOB PURPOSE**
Prepare, paint, and test all vinyl and aluminum products
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Prepare and test spray painting equipment prior to use to ensure all equipment is in working order
- Re-prep products for paint to bond if required
- Transfer painted product to the baking booth for 20 minutes
- Perform Hatch Test to determine quality
- Fill out Quality Control Form for each painted product
- Implement Ultrasonic Testing to determine thickness of the paint
- Perform routine maintenance cleaning of spray guns and other materials as required throughout the day
- Once material is dry deliver to Paint Prep workers
**QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**:
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous manufacturing and production experience is an asset
- Any industrial painting certificate is an asset
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES**:
- Able to speak, write, read, and understand English
- Able to use wide range of hand tools, power tools, vibrating tools, and air guns.
- Able to work independently and in team setting
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and learn quickly
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Repetitive movements
- Lifting anywhere from ½ lb - 50 lbs throughout the day
- Manual dexterity, frequent bending, twisting, reaching, grasping, squeezing, pulling, and pushing
