**Employment Type**: Part-Time/Full-Time (20-40 hours per week)

**Job Summary**: As an Events Coordinator at Mt. Washington, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, including summer weddings, banquets, and retreats. Your primary goal will be to ensure that each event runs smoothly and exceeds our clients' expectations. This role requires a high level of organization, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Event Planning and Coordination**:

- Work closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each event.
- Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and checklists.
- Coordinate with vendors, including catering, decorators, and entertainment providers.
- Manage event logistics, such as transportation, accommodations, and equipment rentals.
- ** On-Site Event Management**:

- Supervise event setup, execution, and breakdown.
- Ensure all event details are executed as planned, addressing any issues that arise.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors on the day of the event.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism throughout the event.
- ** Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate records of event details, contracts, and financial transactions.
- Assist in creating and managing event budgets.
- Prepare and distribute event-related communications and marketing materials.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in event planning or coordination, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
