What You’ll Do

**Job Description**:
The Calmont Group is expanding its Fleet Operations in Mississauga, Ontario to maintain a key customers account.

Join our dynamic team and embark on a fulfilling career. We are seeking a dedicated individual who is passionate and eager to join us as a Fleet Technician based out of Mississauga, Ontario.

**Job Description**:
As a technician operating out of a service truck, you will play a vital role in maintaining our fleet of medium and heavy-duty trucks. You will be responsible for delivering efficient and high-quality service, repairs, adjustments, and maintenance as directed by the Fleet Manager. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently with mínimal supervision.

Your core responsibilities will include:
Interpreting work orders and technical manuals to execute tasks accurately.

Conducting preventative maintenance and adjustments to ensure the longevity and safety of our vehicles.

Diagnosing and rectifying faults and malfunctions efficiently.

Completing warranty repairs with correct OEM procedures

Executing tasks specified in work orders and replacing or repairing defective parts, components, or systems with precision.

Assessing vehicles to determine the need for additional safety or service work.

Conducting comprehensive tests on repaired vehicles to ensure compliance with manufacturer's specifications and regulatory requirements.

Managing a small inventory of essential parts and tools to support on-site repairs and maintenance.

Preparing detailed written reports upon the completion of work orders.

What We’re Looking For

Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician certification

Valid Class G or AZ Driver's License.

Air Brake Endorsement is required.

Cummins / Insite experience a valuable asset

Ability to work alone with mínimal supervision.

Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Outstanding attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
