We are currently seeking a Warehouse/Sales Associate for our Toronto Branch.

**Responsibilities include**:
**Warehouse Duties**:

- Perform visual inspections on inbound shipments for product and quality verification
- Conduct Hazard Assessments as required to eliminate / minimize risks during unloading procedures and identify hazards during the shipping/receiving process
- Receive shipment paperwork and process accordingly
- Receive goods from delivery drivers, sign waybills/electronic scan devices ensuring that received goods have been identified through the waybill
- Perform regularly scheduled cycle counts including special requests by management
- Pick / Pack items where require for shipment including loading products onto trailers safely
- Perform material receiving inspection of goods against packing slip to ensure delivery accuracy
- Observe and adhere to all safety policies and identify and report unsafe work practices or conditions
- Operate forklift within the warehouse and loading areas

**Sales Duties**:

- Manage walk-in clientele and front counter work, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
- Coordinate small projects up to $100,000, including pricing, project work, collecting estimates, tendering jobs, placing and amending orders, and liaising with other departments.
- Make product recommendations based on customer needs, specifications, industry codes, and product design.
- Troubleshoot customer and order issues, resolve discrepancies, and obtain solutions to critical roadblocks.
- Complete competitive intelligence analysis after tendering close to understand competition and improve the organization’s competitiveness and market share.
- Track and document work, including inbound support requests, contractor queries, and purchase orders.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the company’s products, services, customer experiences, market needs, and trends.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- 2+ years of sales experience in a related field.
- Experience in Division 8/10 is an asset.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50-100 lbs regularly.
- Clean driving abstract with a minimum Class 5 license.
- Forklift experience/certification is an asset.
- Attention to technical details and the ability to identify customer needs.
- Intermediate ability to operate computer software, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- DHI and AHI Certificates are assets.
