Safety Training Coordinator

The Safety Training Coordinator supports the District Safety Trainers (DST) assigned to them to optimize internal processes and serves as a critical point of contact with local customers interested in safety training and other products offered through the Customer Safety Training business (CST). This position will be specifically responsible for coordinating and scheduling customer training requests, billing customers, and performing administrative tasks including maintaining the DSTs training calendars, ensuring the proper retention of course documents, and triggering the timely delivery of wallet cards to customers. Other responsibilities include purchasing training and promotional materials and supporting marketing initiatives.

Position Responsibilities:

- Upload the DST’s training calendars into the learning platform. Manage the DST’s calendars and make changes as needed to accommodate special requests and maximize enrollments.
- Upload the class rosters into the learning platform and enter student information into CTC to trigger timely wallet card distribution. Re-route returned cards due to incorrect mailing addresses.
- Purchase training materials, temporary wallet cards, and promotional items. Manage inventory levels using the just-in-time inventory management approach.
- Promote CST by creating fliers for the trainers and OSRs and coordinate and participate in tradeshows and other marketing events.
- Perform assignments as requested by your manager to support the growth of the Customer Safety Training business.

**Requirements**:

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a support/administrative role
- A positive and inquisitive attitude that is customer service and solutions orientated
- Dependable, organized, motivated, and self-starter
- Proficiency and demonstrated practical use of Microsoft, specifically Word and Excel
- Quick learner and system savvy
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
