We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our communications department, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our corporate communications strategy, working closely with the Director of Corporate Communications and stakeholders across the business.

**Key Responsibilities**:Internal Communications**:

- Be an internal communications champion—Develop, curate and manage internal bilingual communication content in partnership with key stakeholders across various internal communications channels.
- Manage communications planning through editorial calendar.
- Execute on various internal communication strategies to foster employee engagement and alignment with company objectives.
- Leverage analytics to gather insights on internal communication initiatives performance.
- Organize and manage company-wide town hall meetings and ongoing initiatives and events.
- Other internal communications tasks as required.

**External Communications**:

- Help make the Stella-Jones brand shine—Collaborate with web developers and designers to update content and implement punctual website edits and improvements, ensuring it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and reflective of the brand.
- Manage and update the company’s social media profiles to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Create and curate engaging content, including text, images, and videos.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and manage online reputation.
- Analyze social media analytics and metrics to track the performance of social media campaigns and make data-driven improvements.
- Collaborate with product category teams to create meaningful content and promotional campaign materials for print and online media.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5-7years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related roles.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
- Experience with design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, Adobe is an asset.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office software suite.
- Familiarity with marketing and communications tools and software to assist in the creation and deployment of communications.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Experience working within a publicly traded company is an asset.
- Understanding of industry trends and best practices in corporate communications.
