**Position Overview**

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist with the roll out of new computers, assist the IT Helpdesk with computer related issues, and preform general technology related tasks within the IT Department.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

IT Helpdesk:

- Support the IT Helpdesk in responding to User issues
- Assist with configuring and rolling out new computers and associated computer equipment throughout the county
- Assist with training Staff on the use of technology and software, computer installs, and troubleshooting

General:

- Incumbents must keep up-to-date on all relevant legislation, collective bargaining agreements, County Policies and Procedures, etc. ensuring that these are implemented as prescribed
- Incumbents must possess the physical ability to meet the duties and responsibilities of the job description and/or the requirements identified within the position's Physical Demands Analysis

**Qualifications**

Minimum Formal Education
- Enrolment in a related IT program at a recognized University or College.

Experience
- Experience with Windows 10 installation and configuring desktop computers, software installation, and training users on computer software is an asset.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent technical knowledge

A valid Ontario driver’s license and use of a vehicle.
