**We are seeking the right individual to fulfill a position in our Winnipeg office, as a**:
**_FRESH PRODUCE QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST_**

**Responsibilities**:

- Inspect all produce items upon arrival at the warehouse
- Ensure that all incoming and outgoing product meets strict quality standards
- Monitor inventory on a daily basis and communicate condition of product in storage
- Conduct CFIA audits for product inspections
- Assisting with coaching, teaching and training of staff
- Coordination and monitoring of transportation
- Identify and communicate problems in a timely manner to minimize losses
- Other projects and responsibilities as may arise

**Qualifications**:

- **Must have fresh produce experience, either in warehouse or retail**:

- Office administration experience is consider as an asset
- An understanding of quality control and the ability to review product upon arrival
- Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills - in order to report product condition to ensure that it meet specifications
- Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude
- Demonstrate ability to work unsupervised and meet key deadlines
- Ability to work in high-paced environment
- Good time management skills
- Highly organized; knowledgeable and follow the company’s policies and procedures
- Must be able to adhere to the company vaccination policy
