**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pool Technician to join our team. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing pools to ensure they are safe, clean, and functioning properly. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

**Duties**:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks on pools, including cleaning filters, checking chemical levels, and vacuuming debris
- Inspect pool equipment for any signs of damage or malfunction and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Test water quality regularly and adjust chemical levels as needed to maintain proper balance
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with pool pumps, heaters, or other equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any concerns or issues to management
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Pool Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of pool maintenance techniques, chemicals, and equipment
- Strong understanding of water chemistry and the ability to balance chemical levels
- Familiarity with pool filtration systems, pumps, heaters, and other equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently

**Requirements**:

- Must have valid driver’s license will clean abstract.
- Must own your own vehicle to attend each shift. Our office is located in Kanata north and has no access via public transportation.
- Must have a positive attitude, good work ethic, and be present for each shift.

This position is full-time seasonal. The contract runs from mid April to mid November.
