Leader Name: Director, Occupational Health & Safety

**As ATB’s next **Occupational Health & Safety Advisor with People Places & Spaces (PP&S)**, you will report to the Director, Occupational Health & Safety, utilizing your strong interpersonal skills and communication skills you will be a key contributor in augmenting ATB’s health & safety culture. You will work closely with team members at all levels of the organization to ensure legislative compliance, provide support and coaching, and develop training and communications that keep our team members healthy & safe. You will use your thoughtful review of incident & safety data trends to determine safety campaigns and communications, while providing ergonomic and in person support to our team members.

PP&S is ATB’s real estate and facilities business unit and leads: real estate strategy, workplace optimization & experience, spatial design, construction, project management, leasing & subleasing management, facilities management & maintenance, asset management, facility operations, occupational health & safety, and physical security. PP&S oversees ATB’s 1.5 million square feet of space and the team is deeply connected to transforming banking through ATB’s client facing locations, and leading the way with corporate workplace transformation, both of which bring ATB’s mandate to life and power possibility for Albertans.

**OH&S Advisor Accountabilities**:

- Tracks and reports on OH&S legislative requirements. Ensures all health & safety support roles are filled across the organization.
- Reviews and assesses legislative reporting for accuracy and completeness and follows up with corrective actions.
- Provide on site support with in person branch visits all across Northern Alberta to conduct inspections, ergonomic assessments and safety huddles.
- Tracks, interprets and synthesizes OH&S data to ensure accurate KPI reporting.
- Identifies trends in data, takes appropriate action and works towards enhancing overall safety culture in a hybrid setting
- Builds, maintains and organizes training sessions and modules and their supporting metrics.
- Oversight, coordination & implementation of annual COR audit schedules, planning and action items.
- Support team members with health and safety needs by providing advice for any health and safety related questions or concerns.
- Prepare safety presentations and manage OH&S communications through ATB channels on a routine basis.
