Magee Jewellers & Designers is a family-owned business in Fredericton, New Brunswick for 25 years. We specialize in custom design, custom upcycling, restoration, and jewellery repair. All our incredible work is done in our state-of-the-art studio. We do all stages of custom design: cad design, 3D print, cast, set stones, finish and appraisal. We have been voted number one jeweller in Fredericton for 13 years.

We are hiring a full-time goldsmith to join our thriving company. Our goldsmiths play a vital role in creating the magic at our state-of-the-art studio. Your workdays are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. During Christmas, the month of December, we may need you to work a couple of Saturdays. This is a full-time position with a competitive wage, vacation, and paid time off. Your talent in your craft will require you to set stones, work with platinum, gold and silver, full range of repairs, sizing, re-tipping claws and re-shanks. Attention to detail and a positive attitude is a must.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong attention to detail, organized and motivated
- Maintains an organized goldsmith studio
- Meet deadlines, manage time and work independently
- Experience and Training in working with high end custom designed jewellery

**Requirements**:

- Stone setting - diamonds and precious stones
- Completion of custom designed jewellery pieces - prep piece, set stones, final polish
- Confidence in working with platinum, gold and silver metals
- Restoration of jewellery
- Repair work - ring sizing, re-shank rings, tightening stones, rhodium plating, chain repair, re-tipping
- Maintenance checkups on rings - inspection, polish and clean
