Reporting to the Senior Engineering Supervisor, Mobile Maintenance, the Supervisor, Maintenance Planning is responsible for the supervision of the planning and scheduling team and leading them in developing, supporting, and handling of identified planned work.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement the overall maintenance strategy and departmental direction
- Track and report Key Performance Indicators of our processes and systems
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities in each planning area, including adding and optimizing processes
- Work closely with the Planners and Schedulers to provide critical feedback for the purposes of development and performance improvement
- Ensure consistency of planning methods across different planning areas
- Mentor and coordinate the continued development of a standard job plan library
- Deliver accurate budgeting and forecasting, focusing on key equipment, components, and major work; collaborate closely with Mine Engineering and Operations to ensure alignment between site forecasts and budgets
- Ensure all major maintenance work is adequately planned, including Gantt charts and proper job plans, while developing and working within a robust shutdown management process
- Drive implementation of maintenance strategies within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as outlined by the reliability engineering group
- Work closely with condition monitoring personnel to assess and prioritize condition-based work orders

**Qualifications**:

- Journeyperson’s ticket, degree or diploma in a related field, or equivalent experience
- Solid understanding of Planning and Scheduling duties and the accurate use of supporting computer systems
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience
- Technical understanding of equipment maintenance and maintenance strategies and their implementation
- Digital literacy and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite®, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
