CNC Machinist

_**CNC Machinist (Afternoon Shift with flexibility for Day Shift )**_

**Shift**:Afternoon shift working 3:00 pm to 1:30 am Monday to Thursday, 40 hours per week.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate various CNC Milling machines.
- Verify tooling requirements.
- Perform “first” off inspections and ensure all parts meet the specifications outlined on the shop drawings.
- Perform machine daily pre-use inspections to ensure machinery is functional and safe to operate.
- Effectively communicate with supervisor and co-workers and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ensure that the work area including machinery is clean and safe at all times.
- Ability to deal with changing priorities in a quick and efficient manner.

**Qualifications**:

- Certified machinist with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
- Ability to set up and operate various CNC Milling machines.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Knowledge of GD & T.
- Experience with Heidenhain and Fanuc controls and ability to edit G & M codes.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment (Renishaw Probe, calipers, mics, depth gauges, etc.).
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
