With construction on an additional three sites currently underway.

We are looking to hire an experienced full-time **Operations Assistant **for our Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec terminal. The Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting our operations team with daily tasks to ensure freight is moving efficiently and in a cost-effective manner. _NB: This role embodies an exceptional career opportunity for a person familiar with the transportation industry._

**Duries & Responsibilities**
- Updating and finalizing the morning load runs.
- Planning the second runs and collaborating with our drivers and MTL to ensure coverage.
- Coordinating with the dock to ensure that freight is loaded and staged for the second runs.
- Assisting in closing full loads.
- Tagging and routing early pickups received at the warehouse.
- Providing coverage for Customer Service, OSD, and Appointments during sick leaves or vacations.
- Completing other assigned projects.

**Position**
- Previous experience in the transportation industry, or a related administrative role is preferred.
- Good phone communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Bilingualism is required: French and English.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Day Shift - 06:00AM to 02h30PM.

**Principales responsabilités**:

- Mise à jour et finalisation des chargements du matin.
- Planification des deuxièmes chargements et collaboration avec nos chauffeurs et MTL pour assurer la couverture.
- Coordination avec le quai pour s'assurer que le fret est chargé et préparé pour les deuxièmes chargements.
- Assistance à la clôture des chargements complets.
- Étiquetage et routage des ramassages précoces reçus à l'entrepôt.
- Fourniture de couverture pour le service à la clientèle, OSD et les rendez-vous pendant les congés de maladie ou de vacances.
- Réalisation d'autres projets assignés.

**Qualifications**:

- Expérience en transport et logistique.
- Excellentes compétences en communication téléphonique.
- Compétences informatiques de base.
- Capacité à gérer plusieurs dossiers simultanément.
- Aptitude à travailler dans un environnement bruyant et à cadence rapide.
- Capacité à établir et à maintenir des relations de travail efficaces.
- Compétences d'écoute et aptitude à fournir des rétroactions constructives.
- Capacité à établir les priorités.
- Horaire de jour, 06:00AM - 02h30PM.
