Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated full time Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the laboratory operations and ensuring accurate data collection and analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience in a food and cosmetic supply chain laboratory setting.

**Duties**:

- Assist with various laboratory tasks, including sample preparation, testing, and analysis
- Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results
- Perform quality control checks to maintain the integrity of data
- Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
- Record and organize data in accordance with laboratory guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

- College diploma or above in a science or biology field preferred
- Previous experience working in a biology research laboratory setting is a plus
- Strong math skills for data calculations and analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of quality control procedures is desirable

**Salary**: $19.50-$24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
