**Position Summary**:
The Part Marker is responsible for identifying products/part with a unique Identification code to be able to maintain traceability through the manufacturing process.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Produce a legible part/batch number according to customer requirement and issue status on part by means of stamp, dot peen, etching, airbrush, ink jet or laser.
- Visually inspect piece for defects, alert to quality control;
- Verify all markings comply to the correct specifications using only approved materials, tools, chemicals and machinery.
- Maintains Manufacturing records
- Obtain and verify first off inspection status on all batches.
- Keep tools and machinery well maintained and in good order.
- Ensure work instructions and safe work procedures are followed
- Clean and maintain work area by supporting 6S program
- All other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Experience reading Drawings considered an asset
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
