**EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY**

**Temporary Canteen Attendant (4 positions)**

The Municipality is seeking qualified persons to fill the position of Temporary Canteen Attendant within our Parks, Recreation & Facilities Department.

Reporting to the Manager of Parks, Recreation and Facilities and to the Lead Hand of Parks, Recreation and Facilities, the Temporary Canteen Attendant is responsible for the canteen operations by serving customers, food preparation, clean-up of canteen and equipment, inventory review, counting cash and balancing receipts.
- Exceptional customer service skills in order to provide effective communication with the general public and staff.
- Ability to work effectively under limited supervision and requires you to exercise sound independent action and judgment with user groups and the public.
- Ability to perform all work activities of this position, including cash handling, use of canteen equipment and heavy lifting.
- Evening and weekend work will be required.
- A satisfactory criminal records check will be required.
- Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 will be required.
