**Hybrid role**

Working in a team environment, you will be providing statistical analysis, quality assurance and research studies on examination and other pertinent data.

**What you’ll do**
- Analyze examination data, process scores and conduct quality assurance to ensure the integrity and quality of all data and results - includes performing statistical and psychometric analyses, anticipating next steps and providing short summary of results
- Draft and maintain procedures for processing examination data in collaboration with psychometrician and/or senior statistical analyst
- Prepare tables and figures for examination reports (e.g., Report to the Deans, Technical Reports)
- Perform ad hoc analyses and studies for examination scoring and quality assurance purposes in collaboration with the Psychometrician and/or statistical analyst
- Update and conduct routine maintenance of databases and analysis tools
- Create, update and run routine SAS/Python codes

**What you need to succeed**

**Experience**:

- 1-3 years’ experience in a data environment

**Technical Skills**:

- Knowledge of statistical, research and measurement principles and procedures
- Experience with performing statistical analysis and programming code in accordance with company standards
- Experience with Python programming (data extraction, data wrangling and analysis)
- Experience with SAS (standard SAS procedures including PROC SQL and SAS Macros)
- Advanced level and or certification in SAS is an asset
- Experience with database management, processing, manipulating and merging large datasets
- Experience with documenting code and procedures

**Competencies**:

- Highly developed attention-to-detail
- Ability to manage multiple changing priorities, including under pressure and while working to deadlines
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Ability to learn efficiently

**Education**:

- Masters in statistics, mathematics, educational measurement, psychometrics, psychology, quantitative methodologies or equivalent

**Language**:

- Excellent oral and written skills in English; Oral and written skills in French is a strong asset
