Game Statistician

The National Lacrosse League (NLL) is North America's premier professional lacrosse league. We are looking to hire a part-time Remote Game Statistics Capturer who will work with the Director, Statistics and the league’s official statistics partner during in-season game nights.

Role and Responsibilities
- Record all statistics that occur throughout the entirety of an NLL game by working directly with in-arena statistics personnel
- Work in conjunction with the other remote statistics personnel to ensure all statistics entered in real-time are accurate.
- Assist with statistical queries from coaching staff, media, and other stakeholders
- Assist with quality control and data verification
- Oversee other key products and deliverables within the league’s statistics partnership

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in an elite sport stats team is highly desirable (preferably basketball, hockey, or lacrosse)
- Experience working with high profile media partners to deliver sports data insights and analytics is highly desirable
- A strong interest in elite sport with a focus on lacrosse
- An industry leading understanding of NLL/lacrosse
- Experience with explaining technical problems and solutions to a non-technical audience
- Willingness to help others and contribute ideas and solutions
- Team player, ambitious, high energy, with a strong worth ethic and personal drive to make an impact in the role
- Proven ability to handle ambiguity at times
- Exceptional presentation skills

This position will work remotely from the league’s Data Operations Center (DOC) in
